• Defining a cohesive design vision for the MVP and roadmap
• Led user research initiatives including concept testing and usability interviews to validate direction.
• Driving cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, and design teams.

The global market for professional on demand beauty services is said to generate about $348.4 billion by 2031. As our world changes and technology advances, busy professionals, families and others are increasingly seeking the convenience of at-home services.

Our stakeholders witnessed this growing need in their sector coupled with other issues - Lack of quality beauty services in smaller cities and towns, unutilized booking slots for stylists/ salons and consumers looking for services that offer ease and convenience.

Following the merger with Dr. Dropin, the Snapmed team (now operating as Dr. Dropin Hudlege) was preparing to expand into two new markets: Sweden and the UK.
Before scaling, we identified two key focus areas: enhancing the overall patient experience (particularly follow-ups) and enhancing the dashboard for new doctors to adopt the platform with minimal friction. Addressing these challenges was critical to reducing wasted bookings, minimizing refunds, and improving follow-up efficiency.

After identifying key challenges, we conducted a few interviews with stylists and their existing customers. These conversations led us to a central question: How might we enable stylists in providing high-quality beauty services more conveniently to consumers?

Before focusing on the individual problems, we decided to get an idea of the bigger picture:
• Map out the existing product
• Identify pain-points
• Suggest potential solutions
• Setting up reliable data tracking and focus on user feedback

Nabostylisten serves as a centralized hub for discovery, booking, and client-stylist engagement.

How might we streamline remote consultations to ensure clear communication, effective follow-ups, and seamless transitions between care steps for both patients and doctors?
The solution was not just one fold but required intervention at multiple stages. Along with this we also implemented easy changes from our discovery that resulted into quick wins.
